I'm not trying to be an alarmist but I just thought I would inform all of you that the Covid -19 killed one of my wife's first cousin who lived in Houston. A couple of weeks ago I asked for prayers for my neighbors daughter who is a nurse and contracted the disease. Thank you all for the prayers she is finally feeling better and has tested negative now and has to take a couple more tests over time before she can get back to work.

So I hope all of you are smart enough to wear a mask and are not one of the many that think it could not happen to you.

my former brother in law and his wife have both tested positive in the past week. They are both recovering from forms of cancer so if they actually get hit hard, well we are simply hoping that they do not.

There is a good chance my son had it. He was quarantined for 14 days when this 1st started. They didn't have the test available then. He had all the symptoms. 3 of my neighbors have died from it.

This is nothing to take lightly. The information we get on this is ridiculous. They told us the 77° this virus would die. Now we see the deep south getting out of control. Places that had very low numbers are now out of control. The states that were very bad now are in good shape.

Here is Cook County. We are getting better almost every day.

Here is Texas. Going the other way.

So far the information we have received from the government has been almost 100% wrong.

Thanks for the update. Thankful to God for how He is answering prayer.

Prayers for them. Please keep us posted.

From what I hear it is bad to congregate in churches to worship God, particularly by singing, or go to sporting events, but it's a great idea for people to gather in uncontrolled mobs to yell and scream protests and riot.

At the risk of causing thread drift, I'm curious. Is there any correlation between rising COVID cases and locations and people involved in these protests?

I suppose that might help predict where the next rise in cases might be and who could spread it.

I heard a guy on the local TV station blame Memorial Day weekend as a culprit in the spike in the chinese flu. He was saying that so many people were congregating in clubs, restaurants, and beaches and not wearing masks or "social distancing". Don't know how true it might be but it does make some sense.

We won't see this impact for a week or two. See if the numbers start popping up a little after next weekend.
