    Glad I don't live in such a massively populated area...

    I don't like crowds... I couldn't stand it

    A monorail through a building was perfectly by Disney world years ago anyway

    Mama's baby sister lives about 50 yards from railroad tracks and when train comes though you can hear it over the phone while Mama and her are talking. Granted there's a crossing right there and horns are even worst. I don't think I'd like the viberations or the noise.
    That said it increased value for ones living in thsoe buildings, those folks must love trains!

    My 1st apartment was over a florist right next to a very busy railroad station. You get used to it.

    I hope hey left the structural supports in that building and you can see where they just added to the whole top of it afterwards

    When I was about 7 we lived in a small wood frame house less than 50 yards from the tracks right at a crossing. When the train would come through at night my bed would move across the floor. Had box cars in the back yard from a derailment once. We didn't stay long after that.
