WOW! Beautiful Browning! A guy I worked with back in the day carried a Behlert customized Hi Power - 10 shot as best I recall. Finish was Metalife done by Mahovsky, and sights were plain Jane fixed.

Austin Behlert passed away in Oct. 2005 at age 87.
He was a great guy and very talented pistolsmith .
It will be very hard to put a price on that Hi-Power as
with most custom guns. There is a collectors market.

The last Austin Behlert 9mm Browning pistol was sold at auction for $2,100.
The expected sale was supposed to be between $1,200 - $1,800.

FYI If you are handling any of these guns with your hands, which most likely you are you need to wipe them all down with a gun cloth keep the oils from your hands causing damage.
