My in laws (from cape cod) recently gave me a couple of guns. I plan to display them on the wall. I’m new to firearms and quite interested in understanding what I have. Thanks for any opinions of value, thoughts or comments!

You have a Belgian made H. Pieper shotgun.

These were a decent quality but lower priced shotgun carried by outfits like Sears and Wards.

If you dismount the barrels there will be proof marks that can possibly help determine a rough timeframe as to when this one was made.

I have an "Eclipse" double barrel that was made by Pieper, and I'm currently working on a "St Louis Arms" double that, I THINK was made by Pieper...
