any love for the kimmel AP-9?

i bought one way back in the late 90's on a whim and i just put it on a shelf in my cave until a couple of years ago. i was redoing the room and found it, i clipped the plastic tie off the trigger, loaded a half dozen rounds and took it outdoors. put it back in the box. now that the controversy is stronger than ever, i'm wondering if there's any love for this weapon.

a local store assessed it "as new" the guy called it 100%... what's it worth? i've looked around the web, and prices are all over the place. oh, and i bought an extra clip...
