Rule one: Dont touch, except and only when offered a handshake.
Rule two: Address as 'Your Majesty' or 'Marm'

Looks like at best they got half wrong!

Don't pull her earrings, squeeze her nose then poke her in the eye. Ya might wind up with your head on the chopping block. :)

  4. You mean it is improper to address the Royals as "Lizzie and Phil?" :::::ducking::::: :D;):p

Might result in time in the Tower of London and separation from your second favourite organ Pistol! :)

Amazingly, like 1shot, I too was observing the antics of Mrs. BO in a hospital waiting room, with the sound 'down'. Someone saw me 'flinch' and asked what was the matter. I didn't have to go into great detail, and the overall response was - "Well, what did you expect?"

Also, not only ettiquette for the Queen, but in general a man should not grab a woman's hand to shake. Only if she offers it to be shaken. If offered by the lady, the man should gently shake hands.

I was watching Mr Bean last night on DVD & from what I gather the list goes on for encounters with the Queen:

    1. No bad breath
    2. Shine yer shoes
    3. Brush yer teeth
    4. A tuxedo is nice
    5. Try to refrain from dangling yer index finger out yer fly.
    6. Make sure if you bow to her you avoid headbutting her.

    So, in a basic sense:
"Behave like you would when introduced to any Lady!"

Ms. O acted like she was an equal to Her Majesty. I guess she might be one of those who were kings and queens in Africa before being kidnapped by Arabs and sold as a slaves. At least Barry didn't wear a backwards ball cap and jogging suit with a blue "do-rag." The Obamas are a classy bunch. TJ

The Africans sold the africans to the nomadic arabs, who sold them to the europeans in the old and new worlds. Also the arab middlemen were cut out of the deal once the market started rolling.
Any historians out there to correct this?
I may not be saying it right.:)
