I have a mosin nagant 91/30 that has been forced matched ( dont freak
out here folks ) and would like to `sporterize` it. I did add a limbsaver
to her and it works fine ( needed an extra inch ) but would like something
well different. What Im wanting is a synthetic stock thats a bit of the
old and a bit of the new. I like the military stocks style of sling mounts
and the barrel cover ( the shroud ). The buttstock and foregrip/handguard
I want more like a modern bolt action style stock ( Remington 700 for example )
An adjustable cheek piece would be nice also. Maybe a slingstud for a bipod. Im
hoping someone out in the wide blue younder can point me in the right direction

ATI has a monte carlo stock that sounds like it would be right up your alley.

I have a buddy in Mesa, AZ that does an excellent sport stock for a Mosin with an AK style pistol grip, first one shown here in the white during testing. He's sold some to very satisfied customers.

it's amazingly easy to use, and very natural.

Wood is not compleatly out of the question. I have seen the ati stock. Thing is
Im not a fan of exposing a HUGE portion of the 26/27in barrel.
