Has anyone on this forum done a primer comparison between Rem 7 1/2 (small rifle magnum) and just regular small rifle primers? I am down w/ just 750 of the Rem 7 1/2. I haven't seen the rem's in awhile in my lgs. Before I switch to the small rifle primers (non-mag), wondering what I will find as far as long range shooting for bolt and cycling on ar-15?
The CCI 41 primers were designed for the floating firing pin in autoloaders. A stronger cup helps prevent the dimple and possible accidental discharge.
I use CCI 41's for all my ARs. I use 34's for my FAL 7.62 ammo. Everyone is so worried about buying mil-spec parts for their AR's but don't care if their primers are mil-spec?
From someone that had a "slam-fire" with a H&K 91 7.62, stick with the CCI 34s and 41s. Shock me up enough that I learned my lesson!
