My wife jus got a dpms ar15 for christmas and i need help figuring out if its chambered for both 556 & 223 or jus for 223. mine is 556 and actually says 556 nato on the reciever. hers says 223-556mm on the reciever and on the barrell it says 556. does this mean its chambered for both?

Whatever is stamped on the Barrel a lot of lower receivers say .223 or 5.56 or MULTI the Barrel is what counts

And agreed, the barrel is what matters for markings. The receiver could be wrong.

I'd like to hear how the DPMS works out for ya. Could have gotten TWO for the price paid for the Walmart Colt M4 on Black Friday sales. I understand the DPMS doesnt have a chromed bore. Good luck and don't forget to file the Performance Report!
