President Obama last week, in a foreign country, apologetically referred to My America as being arrogant during the past few years. I would like to remind him that My Country has a history of arrogance. The British thought we were arrogant when we wrote and signed the Declaration of Independence. We were arrogant when we fired on the British Troops at Concord Bridge John Paul Jones was arrogant when he said....."WE HAVE NOT YET BEGUN TO FIGHT" as his ship was sinking in 1812. Germany thought we were arrogant when we stormed Omaha Beach. China saw our arrogance in Korea as we fought our way out of Chosin rather the surrender. The arrogance of a Marine to drape My Flag on a tyrant's statue in Baghdad. Obama can apologize and kiss the feet of European Leaders and bow to the Saudi King if he wishes, but.......I THINK I WILL REMAIN AN ARROGANT AMERICAN. I did not write this but....... I wish I had.
