Fellow BP revolver shooters. What are the gaps barrel/cylinder in your BP revolvers and what do you think is OK? mine are
Pietta 58 Rem 36-.004
Pietta 58 Rem brass 44-.006
ASM 58 Rem 44-.006
ASM 51 steel 36-.006
Pietta 51 steel 36-.012
Pietta 60 steel 44-.011
Uberti 58 Carbine 44-.008
They all seem to perform OK even the 51 with the .012 gap.And the Pietta with the .004 gap does not seem to lock from fouling particulary. There is a story that John Hardin had a 60 army with a 1/16 gap that he had to hold up against the barrel to fire or it lost pressure.

Any experience . What are the gaps on your guns. All mine have near zero wear and these gaps represent what the factory delivered.
