I have a bear creek arsenal 7.62x39 upper. I know the extractor can break because of the steel cased ammo. I read its better to replace the extractor with a steel forged one. Problem is I have searched the internet and the ones I find say not for use on bear creek bcg. Anyone know of any good extractors that are compatible? Thanks

My brother had the same issues and since he knows how to temper steel he tempered his. He said it was too much of a pain in the you know where for such a small thing, so instead he stocked up on them as he said it was a lot easier to change out the extractor. But he says that it can take forever to actually break one so it should not really be an issue. I just called him since I know he has a couple of sks and AK's.

I've got close to 2k rounds through my BCA 7.62x39 AR with no sign of wear on the extractor. I did install an adjustable gas block however as it was definitely overgassed, and went to a heavier buffer as well.
