When not in use, how should I leave the trigger mechanism. I read the a300 manual and it doesn't say anything. Will the spring take a set if the gun remains cocked ?
    Thanks,

I don't know anything specific about the a300, but I don't store or transport any weapon cocked.

In my Barreta Black Onix O/U it states in the owner's manual to use snap caps and discharge the trigger to store in fired condition.

I don't have a Beretta , but I do NOT store my shotguns (or any gun) with the trigger cocked.
