Blues music, Old masters jammin with the New Generation

    I love seein these Old guitar masters playin with the new young talent. Mayer, Lang, Shepherd, and the like. As the time get worse and we fo back to our roots its the old time music thats gonna sooth the soul.http://www.guba.com/watch/3000018040

    I seen the other post with the fellers playin on the street and it reminded me of the days when these guys got their start. Thank you Chess Records for findin the talent and puttin the originals on vinal.

    I heard a great interview with Booker T. Jones aka Booker T. & the M.G.'s over the weekend. He spoke a lot about Stax Records in Memphis.
    He also spoke about working in Muscle Shoals, Al.
    Cool interview. I didn't realize that he was only 16 when he wrote "Green Onions". :eek: :)

    I know 16 and come off with a song like that. It like old Muddy Waters playin and then came along Chess records and BOOM Electric Mudd, I got that album on vynal, 8 track, and CD
