Breda shotgun

    I have friend who has a Breda 1001 shotgun has owned it since new got it in 1950's looks like new would like any info that could be passed on to him about this gun

    Not much is known about them. I know they were made in Bresca Italy and from what I remember there were 7 different variants. Don't know about the 1001. My grandfather had at 1008 but they were made in the late 50's. Much of the action resembled the Browning long action auto. Careful with magnum loads, you'll crack the fore end. Value from what I remember is not much but with the scarceness of them they may have gone up.
