I dug out a Remington model 514 bolt action .22 my older brother got me when I was about 12. haven't shot it years. While cleaning it, I noticed that there appears to be a chip in the barrel where the bolt would seal against it. This is right where the extractor pin is. Maybe there should be some sort of indent there but this looks like a chip. everything else seems just fine. Any clue what I'm looking at? Is it safe to shoot. I'll post pics asap
