Aquired recently 8 boxes of 35 rds of British M.O.D ( Govt issue ) 9mm in what looked like excellant condition. Took my Fn H/Power down the range, and started firing. 1st 22 rds very good then the pistol became sluggish, then wouldnt blow back in its usual manner. On getting back home, I had to use a hammer & stout screw driver to strip it down. Appears the barrel is slightly tilted upward at the muzzle end, & the slide in a slight downward tilt. Ive tried putting my slide on a friends H/P but you can only slide it back & foreward a couple of inches or so.It was also impossible to seat the barrel into his slide as the muzzle end was binding under the front sight location. So, one v good H/P now u/s & fit for spares only.in future I will stick to current manufacture ammo or my own reloads.
