BUFFALO HUMP ROAST

    Take one 45-70 single shot rifle(or bow & arrow if no rifle available), then go find,stalk & harvest one fat buffalo. Dress out carefully & take a 4 lb. roast from the hump and roast over an open fire for 5 hours. Take 10 oz(for 3 people or so) of Canadian Club & mix with clear creek water. Drink slowly while roast is cooking. When done to perfection(the roast), slice & eat with bannock & beans. YUM!

    After drinking ten ounces of CC, you could be eating the roasting pan and still think, "YUM!".

    Just edited it & you are absolutely right Alpo - for one person, but I originally forgot to mention that the 10 oz would be for 3/4 people. Sorry about that. I wouldn't want to cause a ruckus around the cook fire or any teeth marks in the roasting pan.

    Gimme a good bannock recipe.

    A little flour, a little lard, some dried fruit for flavor, fry it on both sides.
