Buffer in trap loads?

    Okay my league rules don't say anything about not using buffer. I use buffer for my high velocity loads so I do have about 6lbs of it on hand. My question is it poor sportsman like if I was too use buffer in my hand loads

    not sure it really makes a difference. have you patterned your gun at 40-50 yards to see where it it shooting? I think you get more performance from varying shot size, load and charge. I have used a duplex load (7 1/2 and 8) @ 1300fps+ @ 1 1/8oz with a full/xtra full choke with great effect.
