Some of you might already know and some of you might not know that the cost of First Class Postage is going up on Monday, 11 May. The price of a one ounce letter is going up 2 cents to 44 Cents. If you buy your forever stamps now then you will still be paying .42 for a letter. I just thought I would remind folks. Here is a link that gives the full run down on the new rates:

    Hey thanks for that info.
    I'd not been aware.
I was just at the post office and bought a book of them. Then tonight I was talking to my wife about it and said "think we should stock up on them and buy a big load of em now?"
She said "we don't really use em that much"
Because we pay all our bills thru the bill center at our bank. We do online banking.
BUT we do send a ton of xmas cards, birthday cards, mother and father day cards, birthday cards, invitations, etc. etc. Every year!

    Thanks for answering my question.
I'm gonna go tomorrow and buy a stock pile!

Postage is still 3 cents, the rest of the cost of a stamp is for storage.

    Good reminder.

Just bought 600 of them last week.
Hope they last to the end of the year.
