I didn't see any other posts about this, so here goes. The was one of the closest matched games I've seen in quite a while. My initial thoughts from watching the 'Bama and Clemson in the play-offs before the Nat/Champ was that the Tigers would blow away the Tide. After the game started I had a full change of heart, it looked like Alabama would slaughter Clemson. When the second half started Clemson seemed to have gotten their second wind. Clemson with 6 seconds to go went for a touchdown to win instead of the field goal to tie, and with one second left in the 4th scored, and clinched the win. After the game they said it has been since about 1905-6 since Clemson has beat Alabama in football, it was an outstanding performance from both teams.
