Here's the recipe ,but we don't really measure. Funny, it always turns out good.
About 1 1/2 lbs. hot Italian deer sausage browned in olive oil
4 20 oz.cans beans (chili, black,pinto,kidney,drained) or what you like
1 29 oz. Can tomato puree
Chopped onion,about 1/2 large
Crushed red pepper
Chili powder
Black pepper
Texas Pete hot sauce
About 1/2 chopped green pepper
When you think you have enough chili powder add little more.
Cook on slow simmer about 2 hours, stir every 15 min. Enjoy
