I'm wondering if someone can tell me what the process is for fitting choke tubes to a shortened barrel.
Cheers

Find a gunsmith in your area with the necessary tools to ream and rethread your shortened barrel. It was very popular several years ago before so many shotguns came from the factory with tubes.

First, you have to determine if the barrel has sufficient wall thickness at the desired point. With the advent of the ultra thinwall tubes, almost any barrel including side-by-sides can be fitted with tubes.

Cut the barrel to length and face the muzzle. A piloted reamer is used to cut the ID and the skirt for the choke tube. Another piloted tap is used to thread the inside of the barrel for the tube.

Reinstall the front sight and you're done.
