With warm weather coming up I thought I need a new toy, I have been looking at a Chrony Beta Chronograph , I load all my own ammo and want to end the guess work. Is this a good choice and what whistles and bells do I need with this. mid south has it for $95.00

the shooting chrony you are referring to comes ready to use. the only whistle you need is a good 9 volt battery. be careful not to shoot the diffuser rods, i hit my first one with a hot .44 mag load. i had to buy a new chrony...

Thanks guys , I placed the order for the Master beta, $113.16 I read some reviews and liked the Idea of the read out at the bench and the ability to take home and review details. I just was not shore as to go with Alpha or beta.

mines the alpha with the large lcd diplay so i can read it without getting up. I believe the master you ordered comes ready to plug into a laptop and is compatible with ballistics software so you can graph your results on a geometric plane. really neat stuff;) have fun with it...
