Sure. Parts gun. I've got one with a Colt top, an AMT bottom and a GI parts-kit for the internals. Value is quite low, as it's a "homemade" gun, and any buyer has no idea whether I knew what the hell I was doing when I put it together.

Yup- I had the same with a Essex frame :)

I have one bought by an uncle. He took it to France with the 28 Div in 1917. #8xxxx. He drove a supply wagon for 107th FA. Stole 4 lemon meringue pies from some Colonels private mess. They were cooling on the windowsill as he drove by. He hadn't seen a lemon meringue pie since he left the States. Latest patent date 1913. All original. Been in the family ever since. He passed it to me!
