Hello all,

I believe this gun to be a Colt 38 DA New Army model. The serial number 25xx puts this in the 1892 range and reworked in 1901. The last patent date is Mar. 5, '95 Hartford Ct.

This gun has walnut grips with no markings. RAC is stamped on the frame and cylinder and underside of barrel. "B" is marked just above the left grip and "P" & "K" marked on the inside of cylinder. The serial number is on the butt plate as well as 1901. "1st" is marked facing serial # and "56" stamped on butt strap. Same serial# appears on latch, cylinder and crane. Finish is in very good condition though I don't know how to actually grade it.

I'm looking for an approximate value for this gun and any info would be appreciated.

I also have a holster marked 1904 RIA and ammo pouch minus wood block dated 1904 as well.
