I do not like the sights on my Colt Mustang, and I am thinking of switching to XS Sight Systems, Trijicon or something comparable.
Any suggestions?

The sights from the sig 238 will fit but the slide will have to be dovetailed in the front. Meprolight makes sights for the 238.

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier, hope you haven't taken action.

I understand everyone has different experiences, and I respect that. I carry a Colt .380 as my minimum backup, and my girl keeps a Mustang with her at all times.

The only sights I would have installed are the Novak low profile designed for this pistol, they're very high quality and seamless in conture. The night sights are just as bright, or brighter, than the Trijicons I have on two full frame autos, and you can also select the color or combination from the three basics: green, orange, yellow.

Though I have a skilled smith, I always FedEx directly to Novak, who will bench fire your pistol for sight adjustment. The prices are decent, at least competitve, and I've had one set of Novaks for 19 years without any loss of light.
