Hello and Good Morning,
A fellow Mason gave me two shotguns shortly before he died.
One is markned " Colts PTFA 20 Gauge 3--Action made in France "
Serial 93686
Is this considered a good quality gun ?
Thanks,
Mike

Traveler, not much info furnished? If it is a double barrel shotgun , it was made 1961/1962 in France. Serial number range 467000-469000. despite the serial number range, my book states only 50 were made, Colt never went past the test market stage Excellent condition,1200, down to expensive tomato stake at 400 in poor condition. Now:), If it is not a double, then I don't have the foggiest of what you have:) Colt did have 5000 Semi Automatics made in Italy about the same time frame, 400 new in the box, down to 175 if poor. Hope that helps.

Pump? Made by ManuFrance, assembled by Kodiak and Montgomery Ward 1961-1965.
Called "Coltsman". Around 2,000 made.

A bit of an orphan--value not great. One like new might bring $300, I've seen good
ones go for $100-$150.

Yes--a pump gun
on a scale of 1-10 maybe an 8 in condition.
Very light and might do for clay pigeons ?
Thanks for the replies.
