It looks similar to a Manhattan Firearms "HERO" pistol, but it has no markings that I can find. Nothing to indicate caliber. Seems to be in good condition; hammer locks back and springs feel strong. I would love to know more about what it is and its value. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't believe it's a Manhatten or American Standard Tool altho it looks like one. Either one would have Hero and the company name on the left side and I haven't seen either one with a groove down the right side. The trigger and hammer would be better finished on a MFC or AST. I'd put it around 100.00.
