Delta Airlines slammed for 'humiliating' double amputee vet to point of tears.
A number of veterans complained to Delta Airlines on behalf of Lance Cpl. Christian Brown, a double-amputee Marine who was "humiliated" on a recent flight. According to the airline's critics, Brown was "paraded" through the plane in a wheelchair and repeatedly bumped into seat after seat by the flight attendant pushing him. After being put on display, Brown reportedly had tears streaming down his face. Two veterans offered to give him their first class seats, but their generosity was denied by the crew. "This story in no way reflects … the very high regard we hold for our nation's service members," Delta said in a statement. "We are sorry and are investigating this event."
