D.R.P. stood for Deutsche Reichspost on pistols issued to Postal Inspectors.

My list shows mfg in1935 . If so it should have a 90 degree safety . If a 90 degree suggest you not use it as a decocker as they brake easy and part is hard to come by. D. R.P. marked pistols sell for a lot ,maybe $1000 to $1500, more than regular . Grips look black and my pre 1938 are all brown. D
