I contacted the seller twice now about the scope in this sale. He isn't answering.

Look at the second picture. What do you think that hex head is on the elevation knob? Is it a buggered up repair?

I looked at all the Bushnell banner scopes I could (pictures on the internet) and non of them have a bolt(nut) on the top.
If you have tried to contact him and he has not responded with a answer I would look else ware for a scope.
I never have seen one ether (but I could be wrong).

So, the seller finally answered. He said the cap screw was missing and he put that bolt in.

I'd say that scope is probably trashed now....
