Relative brought this in 'to fix the cylinder'? It is stamped EIG model E15. Is/was EIG the manufacturer/exporter or Herbert Schmidt in Germany the maker for EIG? Was FIE, Miami the U.S. importer because I see some references to FIE model E15 which looks just like it but this dosen't have any markings re FIE on it. All markings are shown in the pics below except for a very small proof? stamp on the left side of the barrel next to the frame with what looks like a N or M underneath it. Not worried about value, just would like D.O.M. & any other info re this revolver. Thank you for any help anyone might provide.
