Hey Shooter: I use to take American Handgunner and thought it to be a great mag.

They kept sending me letters saying they were running out of paper and that they might not be able to keep me as a customer so, to save trees and give someone else a chance, I didn't renew.

I get Gun Test magazine. In-depth reviews and consistency is the rule here, also there are no advertisements. These guys are honest and don't let advertising dollars guide them in their opinions. Excellent writing and no clutter. I get it online and print it because I can't wait for the mail copy!!!

By the way, this month they test 4 types of BMG .50 caliber rifles, .22 cal Plinkers, and M1 Carbines (3 types).

These guns then become available for purchase after testing.
