The top is my 1985 4 3/4" 45 Colt with Black powder frame, bullseye ejector, beveled cylinder & factory Ivory (yes, elephant Ivory)vgrips. Just like the Duke's.

The bottom is my recent acquisition. A 1977 45 Colt 4 3/4' standard smokeless powder frame that came with Eagle grips numbered to the revolver.

I came home from my gunsmith after a repair to the hammer on my 1985 Colt & an action job on the 1977 in such a good mood & my wife thought it was because it's Christmas movie Friday.

I have an obsession. I don't need help, but I could use a loan. Anyone want to donate to a worthy cause?

Very nice Colts. I’ve been looking for 43/4” 45 shooter grade for several years. Seems like all I run into are 357s, 7” barrels or Commemorative models, in shooter grade. Not to mention shooter grade guns for collector grade price. I just got a 51/2” commemorative that isn’t to gaudy and 2nd Gen with a blemish.
