Picked up this no dash 57 yesterday. Still unfired from the plant. Wanted a blued version but they don't come along everyday. I'm happy.

Congrats its a beautiful gun, I have a 6" blued 57, they are really nice shooters. I have been on the hunt for a Marlin Lever rifle in 41 mag to give my 57 a safe mate, cant find one for a decent price.

If my hands were a little larger I'd probably have one myself. They have that classic beauty not seen in many guns today. I wanted a 27 so bad years ago. I loved the machining on the top strap, but they never did feel right in my hands. I was with a friend when he bought a new nickle 57 in a box like yours. He too was looking for one in blue and actually in .44 Mag but all that was available then were the 57s. Enjoy
