Can I order just a firing pin for an Ithaca M-49 .22 rifle?
IT's the single shot
S# 139518

It's my brother-in-law's gun and I want to get the Pin for him.
It was his father's gun. It was the first .22 that my 2nd son ever shot.
We were at his land this fall and the pin was worn down and there were lots of misfires.

Yes you can. Check www.gunpartscorp.com Item number 511710A Price is $14.35 You may already know this but find instructions for taking it apart because things will break if not done correctly. Any attempt to remove the breech block pivot pin with the spring and plungers still in place will cause damage. Mitch

If you are going to change it yourself then be careful. The first thing is to make sure the bolt pivot retaining pin(bolt plunger) is out(they can be a B#### to get out)Then when you pull out the bolt don't lose the firing pin lock and spring.THEY WILL FLY OUT!
Allot of Numrich parts are after market and they will need fitting so check it BEFORE you put it back together.
