First game with new muzzleloader

    Well, since I didn't get the muzzleloader 100% ready before the late muzzleloader deer season, I decided to rabbit hunt with it. Today, with muzzleloader in hand, I found Bugs sitting there waiting for me. The load: .50 cal PRB with 65 grains of powder.
    A clean heart shot. I didn't take any pictures since the results were a little dramatic. (Chest cavity destroyed, guts flopped out, etc). Needless to say, he dropped without knowing what hit him.

    Finished skinning him and saved the hind quarters. The rest had some damage, so I am going to feed it to the eagles that have been hanging around. Might get some pictures of them eating, we'll see.

    Anyway, here's lunch tomorrow:

    It's the weekend, so might cut it thin, batter and fry it up. Mmmmmmmmmmmm
