Looking for information. I recently received thru an inheritance, a FN Browning 1922 ( I think), The weapon seems to have great action and I would rate it as fair to good condition. There are certain markings and stamped numbers that got my curiosity going. First,, serial number is a 6 digit clearly visible 287240 on frame and barrel tip. Also on front right side of trigger ring it seems as tho this was stamped on, other than the manufactory stamps. It has the letter A inside a square block, I am guessing this is factory. Jus below it, is stamped " I " and or a " T " with an underscore below, with " B25 ". Does anyone know what these numbers represent?
