Hello
I joined mostly to research a gun left by my wife's father. I believe his dad carried it with him in South America while he was mining. From GOOGLe and the nomenclature on the gun, I have identified it as a FN Browning 1900 [I thought at first it was a Beretta].
The barrel seems to have a steel plug inserted in the muzzle end. HELP.
I saw this old POST, and on the off-chance you were active, I am posting today.
Can this be removed? I have not been able to locate any barrel replacements, and would like to restore the pistol to operational status.
Any thoughts, PLEASE
