I have NightHawk tastes but a HighPoint budget. Does that mean if I come across a bunch of money I should buy a Glock? Nah, I'd rather have a Taurus than a Glock

Jealousy runs deep in you. It's a $50 car that gets 40mpg, is comfortable and makes a great stealth deer hunting rig

I'd rather have a Hi Point than a Glock. Not that I would really want either one. If it's not steel with a hammer I don't really want it but I'd take steel without a hammer if I had to.

If someone gave me a Glock, I'd sell it, use the money to buy a yellow dog, and shoot the dog.

    And I like dogs.

I'd do like I did with the Glock I did have. Find a sucker with a 1911 that wanted to try a Glock. :D I traded a LNIB Glock model 30 for an old West Hurley Auto Ordnance that already had all the custom work done on it and the bugs worked out of it.

I just read an article in 1911 special of either shooting times or guns & ammo. One of the big gun manufacturers makes a 9mm 1911 that holds over 20 rounds. Thing was mean looking.

Yeah that's my number one complaint about the Glock to. My second is i absolutely hate the trigger safety. I'd just as soon have no safety at all as a trigger safety. The third is its striker fired, call me old fashioned but I like my external hammers. The polymer frame doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Seems like it would be cheaper to buy him a can of dog food when he gets hungry. I think he was just trying to tell you.

Man at the Glock hatred! Ha, its funny. I used to despise them. When my wife was issued one i gave her a hard time about her plastic 2x4 for the longest. Sooo ugly!

.......then, they came out with their single stack which looked less like a 2x4 and after carrying my steel guns it sure felt nice and light. I swallowed my pride and bought it and ive been tickled with it ever since. They have proven to be reliable, they have as good of an aftermarket following as you would ever need, cheap, light and i dont leave my guns where my dogs can them so im fine with poly.

I enjoy looking at and shooting my steel guns more but i sure do enjoy carrying my G43. When my friends are looking at my guns, i usually hide my 2 Glocks. Lol

First off let me say I am a 1911 guy...The Army trained me with one many years ago and it is my defacto go to gun...that being said... I carry a G19 for my work overseas and it has pulled my @ss out of many a fire so I can't hate them and I am a fair hand with either.

The difference for me is my Glock is a tool and I view it as such. When I carry my Colt I truly feel "Armed".
