    Not the handguns... the reloads

Was digging through my ammo supply and found these handloads from last year. I sure love IMR PB- don't have much left.

Always seem to have good luck with Berry's plated bullets too.

Of course- any day when it is sunny, warm and bright and I have the range to myself is a good day!

I carry the Shield .45 (with factory SD ammo) and the Ruger SR1911 was my first 1911.

I now have only these two 45's but like them both. Had others along the way but we parted ways.

From a rest at 21' they essentially shot the same. At point of aim and that's all I can ask for!

I also practiced with my off hand and "point and shoot" style. Pleased with these two guns and my handloads! (That isn't always the case-- I've found some guns are fussy about my handloads--- particularly some of my 9mm handguns)

Isn't it just great to find something you've forgotten about, especially ammo! Not too awful long ago I found two bricks of .22LR that I didn't know I had.

I also have both these guns but the Shield in in 9mm. They are both great handguns and very accurate.

I keep finding things all the time that I forgot I had. It's like Christmas all year long.

What gets me is when you know you have something but can't find it to save your life. That happens to me more than the other!!

I have moved a few times in the last six years so I'm always finding loading components that I forgot I have and as of late I will load it up even if I don't own a gun for it. I kind of figure that when SHTF, I can use as barter.

Having an "Old Man's memory" can be cool at times. I sometimes find "new" stuff I forgot I had and it make me so happy! :p

All those "found" stories are just too cool!!! Unfortunately my experiences are more like Kweeksdraw's. I put them up then never find them again....like the 40 cal., 400 gr. Hornady bullets a friend gave me. They're still out there in the shop somewhere....when I find them I'm going to load them!!!!!

What I really dislike is putting something away where I know I will find it later. Then I can't find it. Then I go buy a new one, only to find the original when I get home.
