I have just 2 options- go through it kicking and screaming, or with resolve that it will be over soon. Talking with the Lord has helped me to settle down. There are parts of this that I want nothing to do with. This is going to happen, one way or another. The likelihood of having the severe surgery seems to be subsiding. I have been successful at staying out of hospitals. Until recently. Once this is done, that should be it.

I have confidence that when I go for the endoscopy that nothing will be there. The Lord spoke to me and said that the surgery is not necessary. Praise God!

Y'all are still in my prayers! Having said that I'm fairly sure that if the VA wants to do the surgery, they will, even if there is nothing there to remove!

The VA doesn't do that surgery. I would have to do that at university health.

Iron Eagle, do you have people that will be with you there on the day and after the surgery?

Just got home. The anasthesia has me wonky right now. Great news! The tumor is in the gall duct, not the pancreas. That means that the surgery to remove it will be much easier to go through. Will know more after next monday. Thanks for the prayers.

Will surgery be necessary? Good question. If I can avoid it, that would be great. One doctor said it was a polyp, not a tumor.

That's great news, Iron Eagle! Polyps are way better than tumors. But if I understand things correctly, polyps sometimes becomes tumors. If they can go in and remove those early, with minimal impact on your health, that would be great. My prayers are with you...
