Been trying to get out to the range. I must admit it was a hot Texas day....97. I really wanted to try several different boxes of ammo. All but last one are shot at 25 yards. 5 rounds each. To say I'm happy is an understatement:
1. Remington Thunderbolt

2. CCI Mini Mag Hollow Point

3. Lapua Pistol King

4. Lapua X-Act

5. Laupa X-Act at 50 yards

Good shooting, I have never fired any Laupa. Looks like some good stuff.

Thank you. I found them both at my LGS and like you had never shot any. After reading the reviews I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. Other than the flyer (my fault), the Remington really surprised me as well considering it is such high velocity, not necessarily known for accuracy.

I bought one of the FV-SR versions a few years ago. I think the differences are the SR's almost comically sized bolt handle, one-piece scope mount and a threaded and fluted barrel. I like it! I'm a .22 junkie though. That's some good shootin' too! :)
