Hello I don’t really know too much about guns but I’m looking to purchase a new handgun and wondering if u guys have any suggestions? At the $400 price tag I’ve shot guns before so I know how to use them and I’m leaning towards a 9mm but just not too sure as too what model I should go for I know it should rest in hand comfortably and I want it too have a safety other then a trigger safety and I wanna be able to add a flashlight to the barrel if I wanted to thank u all for ur help I’ll try to add pics of a few I’m looking at

No kidding. Most stores don't even have as many guns in them as the number of pics posted in this thread!
I wouldn't pick any of those anyway....and that's purely a matter of taste.

If for pocket carry I would vote for a Ruger LCP II 380ACP or Remington RM380 380ACP. I have both and they carry good in the DeSantis Super Fly holster in my jeans pocket. They are not range guns by any means but good for close up self defense.

None of the above.
Which one fits?
Which ones have you tried out on a range?
If it doesn’t matter to you then anyone of them will work (sorta.)

I would try the M&P Shield EZ in 9mm. Eazy to load and pull the slide. I have an M&P Shield 9mm but not the EZ. The slide on mine is pretty stiff.

I have an EZ .380 and have about 2,000 rounds through it and have yet to clean it. It works every time is very accurate at 10 yards. But I still prefer my Glock 27 in 9 mm because it is smaller than the EZ and packs a more powerful punch and I do not need an easy racking slide.
However, the EZ sure is pure fun to shoot at the range.

Just buy the one that feels good in your hand and meets your criteria, other wise you won't be happy. If it happens to be one that is more than your budget wait and save for it don't just limit yourself to a certain budget leave some wiggle room.

The Springfield Hellcat is getting good reviews. I personally would look at a Rock Island 1911 commander model in 9mm or a Baby Rock in .380. Gimme a 1911 over a striker fired handgun any day, but that's just me.
Oh Yeahthat is r, I've been drooling over the Hellcat for some time, Really like the extra rounds that it holds, but I'm retired and on a limited budget, and besides that, I already have more handguns than i can shoot LOL but that is a nice handgun with Very Good reviews.
