I have a H&A double action no. 6 32. cal. hand gun am looking for the correct ammo for this hand gun. I know that this gun should be a black powder load but does any one know the correct ammo size for this pistol?
There were two .32 cartridges in use during that era, the .32 rim fire and the 32 S&W. The 32 rim fire was already becoming obsolete by that time However H&A manufactured both types. If it were rim fire, you could tell by the shape and position of the hammer, If center fire, then it would be either S&W short or long. . If Rim fire, well, it is now a collectors item and rare, a batch were made up a few years ago but they are long gone.
