I finally got my hands on one of these. I say finally because it took four weeks to get it after I laid down the money for it. I had my friend Chris order it threw his gun shop and the suppler lost my order, then lost the check and canceled the order. So what should have been delivered in 4-5 days took a month BUT they were nice enough to knock off a good bit of money for the trouble. So it all worked out.

So I took it out this week and was very impressed with it. It shot high right out of the box but I'm getting it sighted in. I got it close as you can see in the video but I need to load up some more rounds and take it out again. I plan on putting some ladder sights on it like the sharps rifles soon and seeing how far I can take it out. I have 350 yards to work with at my range.

I have one of their (H&R 1871) Handi Rifles in 45-70. I started out loading them with 405 grain bullets but it was wearing my butt out so I changed to a 350 grain bullet. It still kicks pretty bad but nowhere near as the 405 did. Of course the Handi Rifle is not as long as the Buffalo Classic and therefore not as heavy which makes the recoil a little more intense. The last deer I shot was with that rifle and when it was hit it went down immediately!!

That is a great looking gun and it looks like you had a lot of fun shooting it.
