All,
New member here. I found this forum while searching for info on an H&R .22 Special (9 shot .22LR) that surfaced while sorting out my dad's gun cabinet.

This pistol appears to be in good shape for a 70+ year old, but I can not figure out how to remove the cylinder for cleaning. There doesn't appear to be a catch to disengage it from the barrel assembly. Do I have to remove the barrel+cyl to remove the cylinder? Is there something special about the extractor assembly?

Any info would be welcome.

Thanks,
Fritz

Welcome to The Firearms Forum, Fritz.

You really need to post some pictures and when you do, post them and your request for information in the Technical Questions & Information forum. You will get a lot more people to see it over there.
