I picked up an old 922 ATM won't fire due to the hammer looks like it needs a new one it the hammer that has the firing pin on it any one know a place to get one searched all over and can't find one all most found one on the Internet but the site had all of them but the one I need just my luck any help would be outstanding Ty

If you can't locate a hammer, then you must fix the old firing pin. This can be done by cutting a slit in the hammer and pinning a new firing pin in and then filing it to fit and fire properly. If you can't do this yourself, it is most likely not worth the cost and should be sold.

Well citing the slit and puting a new one did not seam possible so I welded 3 beads on the end of what was left filed it down heated the hammer back up so I could temper it put it in and gun works great woot

Thanks for the information on how you repaired your 922 hammer.

I may use that method if I can figure out what the broken piece looked like...

At one time I thought I might drill and tap for a screw and then file it to shape.
