I just recently got this setup and started doing research. I'm very sad to read that Jim, the resident expert is no longer with us.
My 'N' (1953) 923 is in pristine condition, it's only fault is it was missing the cylinder pin, my gunsmith had one from a different model and machined it to fit this pistol. My main question concerns the holster it came with.
It fits like a glove and is made by J.C. Madeley out of Conroe, Tx (just up the road from me.) I've been able to find out very little about this guy other than he made law enforcement holsters and possible he died before this gun was made.
Anyone familiar with this leather man?
Thanks
Andrew
